A constitutional expansion

Expansion coverage began July 1, 2021.[KFF] Because the ballot measure bars additional burdens on expansion enrollees, changing the rules takes another statewide vote. In 2026 the House and Senate each passed versions of a resolution to put that question on the ballot, but none cleared the Senate’s supermajority for the August special election or a final vote for November.[KFF]

Postpartum

SoonerCare’s 12-month postpartum coverage was approved March 23, 2023.[KFF] Newborns of covered mothers are deemed eligible to 205% of the poverty line.[MACPAC]
