Every document behind a number on this site, with its vintage, the day we read it and what it supplies. Nothing is listed here that the site does not use. Federal documents set the poverty line, the SSI rate and the national rules; MACPAC supplies the baseline for all 51 jurisdictions; KFF’s survey is the cross-check; and state agency documents decide wherever they differ or where a state sets dollar amounts.

Notes on access

Kansas’s KanCare website refuses automated requests, so its April 2026 standards (Appendix F-8) were read from the Internet Archive’s May 20, 2026 capture of the official kancare.ks.gov page; the figures match KFF’s January 2026 survey once the disregard is accounted for. Several other agency sites block automated link checks; their links point to the official agency domains and were confirmed by hand where possible.
