Children and pregnancy

Medicaid covers babies to 162% of the poverty line and children to 145% or 133% by age; CHIP funds extend every age to 213% inside Medicaid.[MACPAC] Pregnancy coverage runs to 194% and from-conception coverage to 197%.[MACPAC]

Postpartum

Nebraska’s postpartum extension to 12 months was approved December 8, 2023.[KFF] A woman within that postpartum year is excluded from the community-engagement rule under the federal regulation.[CMS]
