Hawaii Medicaid Eligibility Calculator (2026)
Hawaii applies its own poverty guideline — $18,360 a year for one person — so Med-QUEST’s limits are higher in dollars than the mainland: $2,112 a month for a single adult and $8,196 for children in a family of three.

Postpartum and newborns
Med-QUEST’s postpartum extension to 12 months was approved August 16, 2022.[KFF] Newborns of Medicaid-covered mothers are deemed eligible to 191% of Hawaii’s poverty line, the same as the pregnancy limit.[MACPAC]
